  CONTENT OF PERFECT VISION WORKSHOPS

Perfect Vision Workshops provide an enjoyable and engaging presentation of demonstrations, techniques, themes and genres within visual art.

Introduced are lessons using step by step techniques to activate the creative potential of the participant. Each week new ideas are shown alongside talks about famous artists that complement processes taught. In this course different approaches to visual problem solving and examples from art history and contemporary art are given. This is followed by a period of practical work carrying out the methods shown under the guiding hand of the tutor.

 
  What will the outcomes of these courses be?
Participants will be able to produce work of a guaranteed high quality strengthening and building upon their exisitng ability no matter what level they are at. The result of these workshops will appear in the form of finished work to a very high standard.

What are the Standards I will be working to?
All work will be developed through the practice of observation and the heightening of critical awareness. Creative ability will be encouraged and participants will be introduced to a number of techniques that encourage experimentation and exploration with chosen source material. Because of the well proven teaching methods used over many years your work will reach a high standard and will become suitable content for a developing portfolio.

 
  What Media will we be using?
A Variety of Media will be encouraged and used including… Oil paint, Acrylics on canvas and board, Watercolours and Gouache, Photography through digital media and different drawing mediums such as charcoal, pencils, pens, ink and wash. SEE MATERIALS LINK FOR MORE DETAILS. Don't purchase materials until after your first lesson. All materials will be provided for the first lesson.

Who is this course for?
This course has been developed for both complete newcomers and those who have worked with Sean O’Dwyer of Perfect Vision or elsewhere before. They can be of any level of previous experience or not. Through a thematic development of ideas all participants will be able to work at their full potential.
